How to use MediaGenie to save your favourite media:
1. Saving your first video
1. Copy URL, or select 'Share' and then 'Copy link' on any video from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or anywhere.
2. Paste the link into the box on the Home screen or in My Library and tap Save link ✦.
3. That's it. MediaGenie grabs a thumbnail and the title (where possible). You can keep the original title or rename them.
2. Organising with folders and tags
Tap New folder in the sidebar (or the menu on mobile) to create one — "Recipes", "Workouts", "Inspo", whatever fits. Move a video into a folder using the folder icon on its card. Tags work the same way and are searchable: type any tag into the search bar and matching videos appear.
3. Favouriting and sorting
Tap the heart on any card to favourite it. Use the sort menu at the top of the library to switch between Recently added, Oldest first, A–Z, Z–A and Favourites first. Your choice is remembered next time you visit.
4. Sharing a video
Tap Share on any card. On phones, the system share sheet opens so you can send to any app. On desktop, the link is copied straight to your clipboard. Sharing works on every plan.
5. Using MediaGenie on your phone and on desktop
Sign in with the same email on both. Your library syncs instantly — save on your phone, watch on your laptop, or the other way round. If you've been using MediaGenie as a guest first, your saves migrate into your account the first time you sign in.
6. Plans & Pricing
See full pricing on the pricing page.
7. Cancelling or downgrading
You can cancel Pro any time from Manage subscription on the pricing page. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've paid for. If your library has more than 100 saves when you move back to Free, you keep everything — your 100 most recent saves stay fully active, and the rest become read-only (you can still open, and delete them). Delete down to 100 and everything unlocks instantly. See the FAQ for more.
