Yes — genuinely free, no credit card required. The free plan gives you up to 100 saved videos with full access to every feature: folders, favourites, tags, notes, search and more. There's no time limit on the free plan and no hidden catch. MediaGenie Pro simply removes the 100-save limit for people who want an unlimited library.

Nothing gets deleted. Ever. If you cancel Pro and have more than 100 saves, your 100 most recent saves stay fully active. Older saves become read-only — you can still open the original video and delete the save, but you can't edit, move or copy them. The moment your total drops back to 100 or fewer, everything unlocks automatically. No waiting, no data loss.

YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook are fully supported — meaning MediaGenie automatically pulls in the video title and thumbnail. For other platforms (Pinterest, LinkedIn, Vimeo, Twitch, Reddit and more), MediaGenie saves the link and pulls in the site favicon as a placeholder. If a platform supports oEmbed, you'll get a thumbnail too.

No. MediaGenie saves the link to the video — not the video file itself. The video always lives on the original platform. This means if a video is deleted or made private on YouTube or TikTok, your saved link will no longer play — but your save (title, notes, tags, folder) stays in your library.

Yes — every saved video has a Copy button that copies the original URL to your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere. You can also use the Open button to go straight to the video on its original platform and share from there.

No. Your free account stays free for as long as you want it. There's no trial period, no expiry date, and we'll never force you to upgrade. Try it mode (without an account) lets you save up to 10 videos, stored in your browser's local storage. Sign up for a free account to sync everything to the cloud and unlock up to 100 saves.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Pro subscriptions — no questions asked. Refunds are handled by Paddle, our payment provider. You can request a refund at paddle.net using your purchase email, or email us at info@geniesuite.pro and we'll sort it for you. Outside the 14-day window, you can still cancel anytime and keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.

Yes. We don't sell your data, ever. Your library is private to you — we don't share it with advertisers or third parties.
